Ō - BARRE
The ō - barre method is based on years of feedback from our clients in an attempt to refine and deliver an optimal barre based workout, which fires up the core, isolates muscle groups and provides the benefits of incorporating classic yoga asanas and flows.
Small micro movements and deep holds allow the muscles to strengthen and engage - which is an efficient way to change the body.
Holding tones both large and small stabilizer muscles, and increases strength and endurance. The fusion of yoga with this powerful barre based workout, allows you to connect with your breath, move mindfully and challenge yourself.
Powerful, energetic form of yoga where students move fluidly from one pose to the next while connecting their breathing to their movements. This is a challenging Vinyasa Flow class which is set to energetic music and offers a vigorous and revitalizing form of physical fitness. It incorporates strength, flexibility, balance, cardio and mental stamina in one session - the perfect blend of sweat and serenity.
A total body workout, Sculpt classes are set to energizing music and designed to tone and sculpt every major muscle group. This class compliments your regular yoga practice, while boosting your metabolism and pushing your strength and flexibility to new heights. Free weights are added to flow sequences, creating resistance and intensifying each pose. Strength-training exercises such as squats, lunges, bicep curls and tricep curls are incorporated to build lean muscle mass. You will see visible results in your body. Class is heated to 79-85 degrees.
An invigorating and detoxifying practice which focuses on movement and breath connection. There will be moments of space and silence - placing attention on alignment and deep holds. The room is heated with radiant heat panels (79-85 degrees) and consists of challenging postures that are symbolic of the challenges of life. The focus is to get you into the direct experience of your breath and body and out of the busy-ness of your mind. The (clean) radiant heat warms your muscles quickly and should allow practitioners a greater range of motion. Make sure you are well hydrated before class and bring water and a towel to practice.
GENTLE FLOW YOGA
A relaxing, restorative, simple practice; in it's simplicity lies it's quiet power. By incorporating postures that allow muscles to relax, you are able to access the deep yin parts of the body - the connective tissue. Flexibility and strength is achieved by stretching and holding poses for several minutes at a time, with the emphasis on releasing muscles rather than contracting them. A truly restorative and healing experience for mind and body alike.
This class focuses on areas of tension and is excellent for anyone, especially if you sit at a desk or have been sitting in a car. Long holds, deep stretches and hands on assisting work to release muscles, instead of contracting them. A restorative practice that is complementary to any intensive fitness regimen. (60 minutes)
Suspension training is a workout like no other. The Total Body Resistance system uses adjustable straps with handles and foot cradles along with your own body weight to effectively work all of the body. This type of training addresses flexibility, strength, endurance, cardio and balance. It is a core infused workout that engages upper body strength and creates a leaner, more defined body. In addition to being unique and fun, the class is appropriate for any fitness level (Athletic/running shoes required).
